I’ve traded my meteorology maps for nutrition, fitness & lifestyle plans to help others brighten their quality of life — Something I feel I was born to do!

I studied through ISSA to become a personal trainer, earned a Master’s in Nutrition with a functional medicine emphasis from University of Bridgeport, one of the nation’s leading nutrition schools, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

I earned the Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS®) credential—nationally recognized for advanced clinical training in personalized nutrition, and obtained Florida licensure as a Dietician / Nutritionist (LD/N), allowing me to use Medical Nutrition Therapy with clients.

My passion and gift is to be a detective to find a solution for my clients who have tried everything to lose weight or overcome health challenges. To do this, I get to know all details of my clients' cases. I use bloodwork and functional lab testing (gut, metabolic, hormone, genetic, etc) to guide evidence-informed protocols. I cherish the life changes I’ve had the honor of being a part of!

My career change was precipitated by my own health challenges brought upon from intense protocols required to obtain my national qualification as a bodybuilder (figure) competitor. I won trophies but I lost my health... But for this, I am grateful; Without this experience, I never would have discovered the profound impact food, movement, nervous system regulation & lifestyle can have on health.

I earned my first Master’s Degree in Meteorology from Florida State University, where my graduate research focused on improving hurricane track forecasting. I was honored to have my work published here, to present my findings at the American Meteorological Society, and to feature those findings on-air during hurricane coverage at multiple television stations in Houston.

I’ve worked as a meteorologist and reporter in Tallahassee, FL, Springfield, MO, and Houston, TX. Most recently, I partnered with CW39 Houston as a meteorologist and produced their “Fitness Friday” and “Wellness Wednesday” TV segments, bringing practical wellness insights to a broader audience.

I’ve been active in my community—serving as a spokesperson for a local “No Text and Drive” campaign, emceeing dozens of station-sponsored events, and leading a women’s “Faith & Fitness” church group. Since transitioning out of broadcast full time, I’ve been invited to speak at the Texas State Science Fair and at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston on several occasions.
