Thanks a million to Ms. Lindsey for introducing me to a better quality of life and healthier lifestyle.  She was the missing link of the three-legged stool.  This is amazing; people around me are saying I look 10 years younger, I also feel 20 years younger.  Now, I can live a life at an optimum level and with great confidence and fulfillment.  Many times when I walk, I walk as if I was seven feet tall.  She has said that nutrition is king, exercise is queen, put them together and we got a kingdom.  She has reminded me that our waistline is our lifeline; she is an amazing trainer and leader, which leads by example.

THE COLLAPSE:
At 28 years old, I was rear-ended in a car accident that caused an L4-L5 herniation and severe low back pain. The pain became so unbearable, some days I couldn’t walk. I fell into a slump of bad habits and hit an awful state of anxiety and depression, not to mention struggled with alcohol abuse. I felt stuck in the worst shape of my life and could not get myself out of it. I bought into fad diets that worked short term but were not sustainable.

THE SHIFT:
A LOT of bad habits had to change. I was not aware that a mind shift was needed. Lindsey teaches way more than just how to work out and eat healthy. She took time to educate me on how to utilize tools such as visualization and breathwork. We started with yoga and moved into weights. I finally saw weight loss, and the post-workout endorphins helped with anxiety and depression. The nutrition mindset shift took time, but Lindsey helps with recipes and shows how to make eating healthy taste great! I never feel starved or have cravings. I’m always so thankful I can send Lindsey a pic of what I cook; she suggests how to improve macros and micros in meals to maximize weight loss.

THE CONTINUED RISE:
With Lindsey's help, I lost 65 pounds of fat and am living with mild-to-no back pain. I feel the BEST I’ve ever felt. Lindsey helped me switch to an anti-inflammatory diet, which has been a game changer for my gut health. I am no longer on any painkillers, nor on any anxiety or depression medication! My period cramps, which would cause me to call in sick to work, are now minimal and tolerable.

Thanks so much to Lindsey for changing the course of my life. I am a 67 year old male Type 2 diabetic with a host of medical issues. After eight foot surgeries, I had to give up on saving my left foot and ankle and adjust to the fact that I must undergo a below the knee amputation. Specialists told me that I needed to lose weight in order to gain mobility after the surgery.

I had ballooned to 361 pounds last year before any positive changes. I was able to lose 22 pounds on starvation diets, dangerous injection drugs, and dubious diet pills. But these things were not sustainable, and my weight was starting to creep back up like it has many times before.

Since starting Lindsey’s program, I have lost over 40 pounds in 13 weeks while not feeling hungry. Who knew that balancing the carbs, fats, fiber, and proteins could make such a profound difference. She has helped break my insulin resistance. My blood sugars are better now than they have ever been since I’ve had Type 2 (over 35 years).

She corrected a major thyroid issue that my doctor didn’t test for. I have been weight training now for over a year, but her training tips have helped me more than double strength, gain endurance, and flexibility. All of this with one good foot and in a power chair. I now believe that in 8-9 months time I will be at target weight and can have some very active years to come.

Lindsey helped me to learn that nutrition is very important to incorporate with your weight training. The NuTriDay app Charge Up Challenge helped me develop a better understanding of nutrition and how we can use food to nourish our bodies and reach our goals.

Wow, what can I say.  Who doesn’t want to eat healthy, exercise and lose weight to feel good about themselves?  This is what Lindsey gave me, this is what I was able to accomplish with her guidance.

It's never too late to get started! Take it from someone who didn't start lifting weights/working out until after 60 years old! I knew statistically speaking, very few people my age are successful in losing weight and building muscle, so I decided to work with Lindsey... and we were able to accomplish something magical! 16 pounds of fat gone and 5 pounds of muscle added over the course of working with Lindsey for a few years!
